Friday - Palace Theatre - October 12, 6 - 11:30 pm - Silent Film night combined with music video competition and live music. There will be three bands: Dusty Pascal, Leo Crandall, Hove Moreheads, and Dashe. Also the winner of the video competition will play. Prizes are $500, $250, and $100, plus free time at Subcat Studios.

The silent films are a combination of film and discussion, with live music. The films are: Charlie Chaplin Burlesque at Carmen (31 minutes - 1915); Buster Keaton, One Week, (19 minutes - 1920); Harold Lloyd, An Eastern Westerner (24 minutes - 1920); and“What’s Opera, Doc?” (Bugs Bunny “Kill The Rabbit”). The accompanying music is variations of existing scores performed by Reggie Siegler, Soft Spoken band.
