Watch the 1925 silent masterpiece The Lost World. This is the first dinosaur movie based on the novel by Arthur Conan Doyle. The film includes ground-breaking special effects by Willis O'Brian. At 7pm film historian Denise Morrison will provide historical perspective of the film. Then musicians Marvin Faulwell and Bob Keckeisen will bring the film to life with a rousing musical score. Program funded by the National Endowment for the Humanities.
The following shorts will be shown before the main feature: Ghosts of Slumber Mountain (1918) and Laurel & Hardy's Flying Elephant (1927). all ages
