This looks like a great line-up, truly presenting an international perspective.

I see that DER GEISTERZUG (1927) is also on Edition filmmuseum's "in preparation" list for future DVD release.

I'm especially interested in William Wauer's adaptation of DER TUNNEL (1915), which has recently been restored by the Filmmuseum in Munich.

The festival in Bonn always had a great program. But the future is unknown. The city, which gave 40.000 Euro per year for the festival won't pay this anymore. Bonn has a great debt. So it's the old story: Cultural events are canceled because of the mismanagement.
