"The Earl Smith Strand goes back to its roots with a silent film series featuring the very best of the Silent Era. Take a step back in time and relive the 1920's with the greatest silents on the silver screen as they were meant to be seen in our beautifully restored art deco theatre.
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde:
Dr. Henry Jekyll experiments with scientific means of revealing the hidden, dark side of man and releases a murderer from within himself in this silent thriller. This 1920 film starring John Barrymore thrills as it explores the duality of man in a chilling tale that delves into both science and morality to create a lasting tribute to the Robert Louis Stevenson story.
With live accompaniment by Ron Carter on the The Strand’s Mighty Allen Theatre Organ. There will be an organ pops preshow at 2:30pm. Tickets are available through The Strand Box Office at 770-293-0080 or at http://www.earlsmithstrand.org/" target="_blank"
