In conjunction with the "Reading the Stars" exhibition at the main branch of the San Francisco Public Library, they will be screening The Son of the Sheik on July 10, 2011 at 2:00 pm.

I've been invited to intro the film and also represent the slideshow "The Sheik Offscreen" that I recently presented at Hollywood Heritage.

The library will also have 2 additional exhibits on display pertaining to Silent Film and theaters in San Francisco.

Thomas Gladysz curated the "Reading the Stars" exhibit and I'm anxious to see it.

This is also SFPL's nod to the San Francisco Silent Film Festival which will start on July 14th.

If you are in town, do miss a trip to the library to see the exhibits and if you are in town on the 10th The Son of the Sheik is a fun film if you've not seen it.
