7 Classic Monster movies free this weekend (outside USA)

It took me a while to find out that this is available only for non-USA viewers, but YouTube is launching 7 Universal monster movies this weekend, starting with Dracula (1931) and The Mummy (1932). Each will be available to watch for one week.

Its always great to expose more people to these sorts of films, so I'm not complaining, but does anyone else think it's a bit weird they're doing this in January? Surely October would have been the ideal month for this promotion.
