Original print of this Hal Roach / Charley Chase two-reeler with a canned music track. Martha Sleeper stars as a princess of a fictitious kingdom who must get married to rule her country. She marries condemned prisoner Charley, who then gets out of prison because he was innocent. He travels to the kingdom to claim his throne as the new king, but there is treachery afoot to get him killed. The great Jewish comedian Max Davidson has a big role in this one, and Oliver Hardy has a small role as a military officer. No splices except for the leader and tail, which are not original. This is definitely not a Blackhawk print. It may be from EmGee or Charles Tarbox. Before the title there is a "Kodak Cinegraph" title, but the film stock is 1969. I'll include a film can.
