VINTAGE LAUGH AND LIVE DOUGLAS FAIRBANKS, SR.

Post by telical » Fri Apr 12, 2013 7:32 pm

This copy of "Laugh and Live" by Douglas Fairbanks, Sr.
has an interesting inscription on the front endpaper. It looks like
the typical author's inscription during signing.
I checked around at his handwriting samples online and a few things
match up.

I can't guarantee this is his writing but it may be a low cost way
to get an excellent book with what may Fairbanks' penmanship.

Britton Publishing Company, 1917. 1st Edition 2nd Printing. Hardcover.
190 pages, 20 chapters, numerous documentary photographs on plates.

Ex-library copy with typical marks and stickers, about four pages have a small stain. One section of about three lines
has a neatly drawn paragraph bracket at the side. Some wear on one of the letters in the title.
Otherwise, in clean very good condition.
