Hi there folks! Joe Rinaudo, owner of the American Fotoplayer has alerted me that he is looking for any new "Picturolls" to complete his collection. "Picturolls" were basically music rolls made to narrate silent films. They ranged from catchy chase music to mushy love scenes, such as "Fire, Fire, Fire" and "Drunk Soused Spree". However, they are also very important to the Fotoplayer because they were cut specifically for it.
If you do have any "Picturolls", they can be copied and recut, allowing you to keep the originals. Thanks again to all who can help!
If you'd like to see Joe Rinaudo's 1926 Fotoplayer in action, I've posted the video below.

Have those Picturolls found a new home yet?
I just found out that the Filmmusic Co (maker of Picturolls) made popular rolls for the home player piano. I'll be getting one soon - a curiosity.
