SNOW-WHITE (1933) Directed by Dave Fleisher. With the voices of Mae Questel as Betty Boop and Cab Calloway. Dupe print has no splices, but slightly low sound and some light wear. Unmarked acetate stock. $20 Sold

THE FATAL GLASS OF BEER (1933) With W.C. Fields. This great two-reel spoof on Yukon melodramas has a few splices and quite a bit of wear, so only $10. Blackhawk print. Sold

SHOULDER ARMS (1918) Directed by and Starring Charlie Chaplin. This print has a canned music score. The only splice is to attach the leader to the print. The 3-reel preprint looks dupey; this was not an authorized release from United Artists or Chaplin. There are a few lines that are probably on the pre-print. On Eastman 1955 film stock. $55

THE TOLL GATE (1920) with William S. Hart and Anna Q. Nilssen. This beautiful Blackhawk print is on double-perf Eastman 1965 stock. It was originally sold on 400-foot reels, so there is a splice where each reel was joined together. The Blackhawk reels included the original artistic "Part x" leader for a few flash frames, and the original owner left them in when splicing it together. One additional splice. Blackhawk sold two versions of this film, and this print is the first version. The original pre-print was very sharp. However sections of the pre-print had some nitrate decomposition. The bad news is that in the original Blackhawk version, the final reel of the pre-print had nitrate decomposition so badly that Blackhawk was not able to use all of it, so they had to reconstruct parts of the climax with stills and inter-titles. Their later versions of this title contained the complete climax, even though there was some visible deterioration. Other than that, you won't be disappointed with this print. $90 Sold

THE TRAMP (1915) with Charlie Chaplin and Edna Purviance. This Griggs-Moviedrome print has a score by Stuart Oderman that should be projected at 18 fps. The film is 1977 Eastman stock, with six splices and it needs a new head leader. This print has a few thin wear lines. Includes a few shots that are not in the Blackhawk version of this title. $45 Sold

VAMPIRE BAT (1933) with Lionel Atwill, Fay Wray and Melvyn Douglas. This B-movie has some good performances, although no vampire actually materializes in the story. This is the actual positive that Manbeck Films used to make their dupe negative. It has been edited, and splices have been blooped on the soundtrack. Manbeck even inserted black wipes in transition points. This may be a TV version because it is 50 minutes long. Some torn splices have been notched out. 1969 Eastman stock. There are quite a few splices, including some splices where a word or two has been lost. $50 Sold

If you are interested in any of these prints, please provide me with your postal code so I can determine the shipping costs. All films will be shipped in a can unless you request otherwise.
