Yesterday, this Argentine ad emerged from Mar del Plata. It was the first of a Philip Morris series featuring the same soundtrack (Eddie Sierra's The Key to Your Heart).
Although the ad was filmed in Buenos Aires, the song is in English in order to pretend that it was an American production, even though US audiences did not have to endure these commercial that, around this time, began to be restricted to be shown only after 10 PM although they were eventually banned around ten years later.
The original soundtrack was in such terrible shape that I decided, due to a friend's suggestion, to dub a better recording of the melody. However, I had to sacrifice the voice of the announcer at the ending although the ad plays even better without him.
