Since something of an argument about Fay broke out on Facebook, I want to reiterate that, even though he's my alias and icon, I'm aware that Frank Fay was a loathsome SOB when off stage.

Now how can anyone dislike a guy described by Fred Allen this way: “The last time I saw Frank Fay he was walking down lover's lane holding his own hand.”
