(Even the discs for the wonderful AMBERSONS show, which The Old Man himself ground down working on the film, are much improved.)

Slightly related, I saw the "Swinging London" sequences and I've always wondered who the writers were, and if a script might not exist for the mute one. Are there any theories on that? Or any institutes where that paperwork might have ended up?telical wrote:Thanks for posting this. Spent about 10 hours watching his interviews on YT last two weeks.
In silent film, no-one can hear you scream.

Welcome, Robert.
For once, something touted as a Great Leap Forward really IS one. Much of this material sounds better than it has in years; some of it, better than anyone other than the cast & crew themselves has ever heard it.
And Welles was a genuine Master of this medium, as well as an oft-professed lover of it.
Best,
-Craig

Orson Welles & Nikola Tesla - The Creative Process
"This rare film stars Orson Welles and features a dramatic recreation of a meeting between Nikola Tesla, Industrialist J.P. Morgan and Thomas Edison, that would decide the fate and future of today's Electric Power Industry in America and the world."

Re: Welles art gets its due...
Forgive my subject change.
May I ask if someone have the original War of The Worlds radio transmission narrated by Orson Welles ?
