Filmed mostly in New York, the 1979 Chesterfield commercials were productions that were seen at the same time in many countries, except the United States, for years. Even though the ads aired for almost two decades, they simply reedited a series of images filmed at first. The soundtrack features the complete jingle in a rare version performed by Marcelo San Juan, who recorded itin Argentina where they actually used an instrumental version only. Parts of this version of the jingle, however, was used in Chile instead. I guess that in other countries they used a different arrangement of this music.
