Very sad to hear the wonderful actress Georgia Engel passed away at age 70. I just loved her when I was a kid in her role as Georgette on THE MARY TYLER MOORE SHOW. She was also wonderful in her reoccurring appearances on EVERYBODY LOVES RAYMOND (five Emmy nominations total for these two shows; I think she should have won for both of them!!) She was enjoyable in every performance I'd ever seen her in and as proof of her talent she even elevated HOT IN CLEVELAND into being a funny show with her appearances there, something not even the great Betty White was always able to do.

She wasn't in many films but she reportedly had a terrific part in Milo Forman's TAKING OFF (1971), a movie I've always wanted to see (alas, one of those acclaimed but star-less 1960s/1970s films that rarely if ever air on television).

It's weird that the first American film by a noted director like Forman has been unavailable in the U.S. for so long. I wound up getting a UK blu-ray of it after waiting for it to show up from a North American source. I thought maybe it was available from one of those "Studio Vault" MOD series, but I don't see it on Amazon or other retailers.

That's the French blu-ray, the listing header says it's Region A/B/C but later it says it's Region B, best to do some research before taking a chance on it, if you don't have a multi-region player.
