Pre-Code Marathon Tuesday on TCM

Post by entredeuxguerres » Mon Mar 05, 2012 8:00 am

Terrific line-up, esp. Molly Louvain, which, on Changsham's recommendation, I was just on the verge of ordering, as, unfortunately, I already had Havanna Widows. (Pays, sometimes, to drag your feet.)

Great lineup. Perhaps I missed it BEFORE but to the best of my knowledge this is the first time TCM has run HAROLD TEEN.

They've run it before, but not often or recently.
Now, if they'd only acquire the 1928 HAROLD TEEN...

Can somebody fill me in on "Strange Love of Molly Louvain." It seems to be a real cult favorite. I've always enjoyed Ann Dvorak, and with Michael Curtiz directing, it seems to have a good pedigree.

Just for a sample of what some people are saying, here's a thread about it on the TCM Message Boards:

I'm the one who posted the comments there about child actress Jacquie Lyn.

Crap, I thought this was on this Tuesday.

Oh well, at least I can finally see 20,000 Years in Sing Sing.
