By the way, a lot of us don't scan 'talkie news' every day, I usually check out 'talking about silents, talking about talkies,' headings and not the others; it's confusing because I think often these headings could be under one thread. So my point is that you might try posting these 'heads up' comments in the other categories.

I don't do phone interviews (don't think they work for long-form interviews like this) so that knocks a couple off the list, even though James Neibaur, particularly, is someone I'd love to talk with. Is there any possibility that Joe Dante can help you arrange an interview with John Landis? It would be interesting to hear about his early work as a stunt double on such films as ONCE UPON A TIME IN THE WEST, in addition to his film career and his guide to MONSTERS IN THE MOVIES.
