Long time reader, first-time poster; I could not resist. I also bend the rules as I go along.

Banned Legs--after a censor cuts out scenes displaying the exposed limbs of the movie's many actresses, audiences are left with 10 minutes of Arthur Lake simpering.

Voodoo Anne--neither incantations rendered by title cards, nor Santeria candles, nor holy water can stop Mae Marsh from creating a slave army of the living dead. Mantan Moreland, Wally Brown and Alan Carney co-star.

Manger Lights--Robert Armstrong naïvely attempts to bring on the second coming by electrifying his barn.

Tol'able Davis--the citizens of California could stand the rule of the Democratic former lieutenant governor for only so long.

Radio Levels of 1930--Radio Pictures is forced to scrap its entry into the all-star revue genre because of faulty Photophone equipment.

The Black Pie Rat--A swarthy specimen with a sweet tooth ruins Douglas Fairbanks' Thanksgiving dinner.

As Tar is Born--Janet Gaynor and Fredric March host this pioneering nature documentary about the creation of the La Brea tar pits. Featuring casts of thousands (of bones).

The Nights of Lew York--George Bancroft stars as York, a strong-but-silent coal stoker who can't sleep thanks to all-talking, all-singing, all-dancing Helene Costello. York comes to regret saving her from drowning.

Blondie Goes Lootin'--Penny Singleton and Arthur Lake do what they must to survive in post-Katrina New Orleans.

NOS Theraflu--in a quarantined city, Max Schreck breaks the tamper seal and downs a hoarded bottle of the very first batch of the popular medicine.

RASTER PARADE

The blu-ray of the classic is found to have Astaire, Garland, and Miller st-st-stuttering down the avenue.
"Sh-shakin' the Blues Away," indeed.

Rick. Just kidding - I haven't examined the blue ray for any such flaws.
