Happy 75th birthday to beautiful German actress Elke Sommer. I always remember her in the Inspector Clouseau movie A Shot in the Dark. I'm not sure I remember any of her other movies.

Ahh, Carry on Behind (1975)... At the time I wasn't sure what her Professor Anna Vooshka was doing to my pre-pubescent mind but I sure knew I liked it! The very definition of a Teutonic goddess.
I just looked up some photos of Elke from a couple of months back and she's ageing beautifully. I hope she's enjoying her special day, whatever her plans.

you startled me a little. Just her name followed by her age - sort of indicated she may have passed away. But bless her heart, 75 yrs young.
