Jane Fonda was recently awarded the Stanley Kubrick Award for Excellence in Film by BAFTA (Fonda made her film debut in 1960!). La Fonda chose to acknowledge the BAFTA award while being arrested again in DC for protesting against this country's failure to do anything about climate change. This falls under the "How to Keep Movie Awards in Perspective" category.
