New biography of Pat Coombs

Aficionados of British comedy from the 1950s onwards will need no introduction to Ms Coombs (or would she have preferred Miss?) Coombs, who supported an enormous number of British comics on TV, cinema and radio, and whose speciality was the 'silly goose' type who was all-of-a-dither until co-star Peggy Mount or whoever took control of the situation.
Hopefully Andrew Ross's new book, simply called 'Pat Coombs' will provide a useful look into both her varied career as well as her life and later charity work for The National Osteoporosis Society..
