Eureka DVD of INTOLERANCE

Post by drednm » Mon Feb 20, 2012 2:36 pm

"This high-quality PAL edition presents the viewer with the unique optional choice of viewing of each of the four stories from Intolerance contiguously. North American collectors will need a region-free PAL DVD player capable of outputting an NTSC-compatible signal to view this edition."

Can this be converted on something like AVS Video Converter???

Thanks for any info..\

This is from the same master material as the Image Entertainment DVD with Gaylord Carter's score.

Yes but this version allows each arc to be played as a separate film like The Fall of Babylon or The Mother and the Law. Does any other DVD of Intolerance have this feature?

You can get all-region PAL-to-NTSC-converting players dirt cheap all over the web. It's a no-brainer investment for the serious collector. I've been region-free since 2001.

I get all of mine from Amazon.uk - shipping is fast (7 days or less) and inexpensive. Combine a few titles to save even more on shipping.

Run together as seperate stories they don't look that great. I watched the 'special feature' runthroughs once and then dismissed it as a bit of a gimmick, really.

The trouble with amazon UK is that this particular version of Intolerance is 43 pounds ... about $75... The DVD on Play.com is only 15 pounds.

The cheaper version cannot be bought from the USA even if I ship it to UK..... Makes no sense to me.

I may have found it on Ebay UK.
