Dear friends, or shall I say, the Nitrateville Street Irrequlars
I am looking for a barely mentioned film by the famed American Indian photographer Edward S. Curtis called SEEING AMERICA. This film was released in February 1916 and was shot in Yellowstone and Yosemite parks. It got a rave review in MOVING PICTURE WORLD seen here at http://www.archive.org/stream/movingpic ... 8/mode/2up and has not been heard from since. As it sounds like an educational title, I don't know how many people would go looking for the film, but it is obviously an important work by an imposing figure in 21st century photography and film. Any hints, news, clues, or be still my beating heart, a discovery, would greatly be appreciated!
