I picked up this still a couple of months ago, and I was just looking up some information about the film. I'm glad to read that it still survives. Has anyone here seen it? With a cast including Clara Bow, Ford Sterling, and William Powell, the film has to have some interest. I also found this interesting poster for the movie - poor Ford was replaced with William Powell!

Apparently, a previous owner of the still (a Doug Whitney - the site claims that he was a big collector) wrote on the back of the still: "Very rare - no stills from this film in NYC Hollywood London Paris, This seems to be the only still in existence from this picture."
So, is this a bunch of malarkey? I'm inclined to think so since I was able to find a still. That does seem to imply that stills from this movie are out there. Yet, I wasn't able to locate any other stills from this movie (granted, I didn't do an exhaustive search). FWIW, I did find this link describing the auction of a herald from this movie:

My Lady's Hips seems more apt in the case of Alyce Mills (who achieves here the near-impossible--making Clara look plain). Crawford wore a similar bustle in Dancing Daughters, & Shearer in another picture. How did this bizarre style find its way into the sleek '20s fashion parade? Great photo.

So you are saying that this movie exists? Where? Can you be more specific. THE RUNAWAY is considered lost. But this movie would provide another chance to see Clara and William Powell together on screen.

This is good news. So when are we ever going to get to see some of these restored films? There seem to be enough Public-Domain Clara Bow titles to make up a Box-set from Flicker Alley, Kino or somebody? BLACK OXEN, MAYTIME, POISONED PARADISE, BLACK LIGHTING, HELEN'S BABIES, PRIMROSE PATH, MY LADIES LIPS, Etc. Wasn't to impressed with THE PLASTIC AGE, but the new UCLA 35 Millimeter restoration might change my mind.

It is GOOD news indeed. Someone should contact David Stenn to find out as to the status of these films, as he's THE man who would know. I'll try to do so very soon, and report back.

Any update on the status of this one?

As of around 6 months ago, UCLA had not completed their work on MY LADY'S LIPS. Though listed on their website and in their preservation programs as being "preserved," the film still needs to have work done on it

I watched this in the research room at UCLA three years ago. Not the actual print, but a low-resolution digital copy. It looked like it was in fine condition though. It’s not much of a film, but it was pretty interesting to see William Powell in his first lead role. He plays a reporter going undercover to infiltrate a gang, and he falls in love with the gang’s leader Alyce Mills. Clara is in the film fairly briefly.
