I believe that an old outfit called Glenn Video used to carry a VHS tape of six or seven of the episodes, but it's long out of print. Four episodes are up on Google Video (or at least they used to be), but the quality's bad. The complete serial has never been released, despite its presence on the National Film Registry and the fact that a restored 35mm print is in George Eastman House.

Nope. Even they don't have it. Wish they did - I'd buy it in an instant - the stuff I have from it is pretty good, and I love Pearl White.

Thanks even more! Further information given me is that my friend is most interested in the Jekyll/Hyde chapters of the serial. If anyone know which he might mean, by all means let me know. You Know Who wrote a review on IMDB, so the content I instantly consider untrustworthy.

There's no Jekyll/Hyde element to that serial - Sheldon Lewis' "transformation" isn't a transformation - it's a mystery villain reveal where the revealed villain suddenly turns psycho. The serial HIDDEN DANGERS had a Jekyll/Hyde element but I am unaware of any others.
