The title is witty and the cover looks good.

The Photodrama of Creation was produced by
one of founders of the Jehovah Witnesses, although
from what I can see from the beginning of it, it
seems pretty orthodox. It's mostly magic latern
slides. You can watch it on YouTube in full by going

I don't think anyone has mentioned Douglas Fairbanks' "The Gaucho" yet. Not biblical, but I think it would qualify as being religious.

LC,

I don't think I was ever more disappointed with a Fairbanks film than when I saw THE GAUCHO. While it had all the makings of being his finest film, at least thematically, the religious elements were handled superficially. i understand THE GAUCHO was only a modest success compared to Doug's earlier films and I think I can guess why. Even today, fans complain of the penny sparkler used for the Virgin Mary's halo, and the fact that Mary Pickford played the Virgin Mary seems like a strange inside joke. I'd be stretching the theme of the book if I included it, and had it been abetter film I probably would. Thanks for recommending it though.

It's fairly boring, but an interesting document of a lantern slide lecture- a popular device of the era.

Bob, you might want to look over the many versions of JOSEPH & HIS BRETHREN. Some versions silent & sound exist under different titles but I understand it's the same story. For starters here's the IMDb listings
