ID person standing with Rudy and Natacha

does anyone know this person? caption says the photo was taken right after Rudy and Natacha married, so it's about 1922. I may not be sure but I think he's an actor in FOUR HORSEMEN with Rudy. Just a hunch. He also has resemblance to director W.S. Van Dyke, but Van Dyke wasn't associated with Rudy.

I believe its the Mayor of Mexicali where Valentino and Rambova were married (for the 1st time) He officiated at their wedding vows. Sorry, I dont have his name at hand.

Interesting photo. I never knew that Natacha had only one leg. That must have made it hard to do the Tango.

I believe I have the alternate photo in my book, this man is unidentified. The mayor is in my book and his nameescapes me. I think, think mind you, this man was a journalist.

It looks like this exact photo, along with another with more people are in Rudolph Valentino: The Silent Idol, and he's not identified in either. Another man is identified as the mayor.

Thanks Mary. Subsequent to publication, I found a reference that he's a well known Mexican journalist. Of course, I can,t find it now with his name.

Paul Ivano, Rudy's good friend. According to this Natacha site which has the picture. It does look like a young Paul of the time , I only know of Paul as he was interviewed on HOLLYWOOD.

for those in the know, is this a real photo of Rudy looking somewhere between geek-and-punk? I've never seen Valentino like this. I think it's cool but pray it's not photoshop. His hair almost reminds me of a Harold Lloyd static-electricity scene in one of his comedies.
