"A Son of the Sahara" Picture identified

This was listed as "unidentified" #7 at the Silent Film Still Archive. I immediately thought it looked like Claire Windsor and Bert Lytell in "A Son of the Sahara."

Thanks! I got this still as a freebie when I bought something else. The seller couldn't identify it either. I think that Windsor and Lytell look very similar in the first photo that you posted.

It also has four small holes in it, apparently made by bugs.

I bet it was from that batch of photos from Argentina (or was it Peru) that were being sold on eBay. I got a couple of them too! I just wonder where they had been stored for all those years. Most likely they were found in a trunk in a cellar somewhere. I don't know what kind of insect likes to eat photos--a shutter bug? LOL

Yes, I distinctly remember it was from South America. Luckily the photo that I purchased was in very good condition.
