In 1926, the Associated Motion Picture Advertisers selected the 12 women who had accomplished the most for the motion picture industry. In order of the number of votes received, the women honored were:
Mary Pickford
Norma Talmadge
June Mathis
Gloria Swanson
Anita Loos
Frances Marion
Colleen Moore
Constance Talmadge
Beulah Livingstone
Jeannie MacPherson
Lillian Gish
Corrine Griffith

When I saw that list, one name jumped out at me due to its relative obscurity: Beulah Livingstone. (Who?) She had no listing in IMDB, Wikipedia, or the Women Film Pioneers Project. It seems a shame that someone who was once so noted should be so forgotten (even if she was "only" a publicist), so I looked up some info and cobbled together a quick little Wikipedia starter entry:
