This is currently on eBay, and if film related, needs to be rescued from obscurity. It is done by Willie Hopkins and is signed and dated 1922. At that time, he had just finished doing the sculpture for THE THREE MUSKETEERS for Fairbanks at UA and would soon be at Paramount. Is this face familiar to anyone? Of course, it could his wife or a commission, but the fact it is made of plaster leads me to think it is for a film - quick and cheap. It is nearly life size.
Any ideas appreciated.
