Peacock Alley 1930 ?

I just went back to oldies.com to get the specifics about Peacock Alley. The date is identified as the 1930 version, but the box has a suspicious disclaimer: "The Lost Silent Classic".
How can it be "Lost" if it has been released? How can it be "Silent" when the cast and crew and date refer to the 1930 version.
Has anyone bought this? What does it look like?

I just ordered it, assuming it WAS the silent because I was looking only at the silent sale listings, & not taking time to read the fine print.

The silent is likely lost, and the talkie version is incomplete.....

Now you tell me. Well, guess I'll find out for myself if the talkie version is as atrocious as has been reported.

Greta de Groat has the silent 1921 version incomplete at the Library of Congress. The 1930 version(whether it is at the LoC or UCLA) appears to be complete according to the LoC's '78 catalog.
The dvd cover artwork packaging is most certainly to the 1921 silent. The wording-text, i.e. like the cast, is to the sound version as Jason Robards Sr. is not in the silent.

LOC may have the complete talkie version but that's not the version that's been in the grey area for years......
