How does one go about registering there?

There appears to be a "Register Here" tab only for those who were previously registered.

Apologies if it's rude to bring this up here, but.....I didn't know where else to turn

At the top right there is "Log In" and immediately below that, "Sign Up". Try "Sign Up".

Yeah, I saw that but wasn't certain whether or not that was for the forums or just the website.

In any case I've now tried to sign up and, as usual, there's a problem. I insert a valid postcode yet I'm asked to insert a valid post code.

I lived without it up till now, I guess I'll manage without.
