While reading the book "George O'Brien; a man's man in hollywood" by David Menefee, I've become more interested in O'Brien's films.

The Man Who Came Back (1924) directed byEmmett J. Flynn, sounds intriguing. Alcoholism, Drug Addiction, Dissolution, and Dorothy Mackaill to boot. There's a review of it Posted on Imdb, so apparently somebody has seen it. But it is not listed on SilentEra so I cannot find any information of its whereabouts or if really survives. It was a FOX feature so it could have been destroyed in a fire.

Nonetheless, does anyone know of its existence?

The review was written by F. Gwenplaine MacEntyre, the hoaxer who wrote dozens of IMDB reviews of lost films that he had not actually seen.

The Library of Congress database shows that only eight of the nine reels from this film survive.
