This is pretty cool. The EYE folks uploaded this on Youtube. Footage of Pittsburgh in Pathe (or some other kind of) stencil color. Anybody from the Pittsburgh area that can comment on this?
Never seen a travelog of an American City presented this way.

Based on the women's clothes near the end, I would say the year is closer to 1922 or 1923.

I tend to agree. I wish I could guess the car models earlier in the clip.

If this color was created by stenciling, I'm amazed that the blowing leaves in several scenes could be so perfectly matched.

I've got relatives in Pittsburgh and have the city visited a few times, but the only thing I recognise is the train station at 1:00, which I think is called Pennsylvania Station, and the funicular, which is still in operation. The waterfront is pretty different now. Perhaps the unfinished building behind that fountain at 2:42 could help definitively date this?
