Are either of these titles Lost?

I recently picked up 35 mm nitrate short films and wanted to know if anyone out there knew if these are LOST films?

Short films: A Daughter of the Law (1921/II) with Ruth Cunard (2 reels) & NOT the 5 reel film by the same title with Carmel Myers. Peaceful Alley 1921 Monte Banks (1 of 2 reels)?

Regards,
Dana

Do you mean Grace Cunard rather than Ruth?

If so, then in a weirdly timed coincidence to your question, an update was sent Friday to backers of the "Pioneers: First Women Filmmakers" Kickstarter listing Grace Cunard's A DAUGHTER OF "THE LAW" as among a number of recent discoveries and restorations. Library of Congress has the film.

Thanks Jess for the reply.

I meant Grace Cunard. When I researched the title I did not see it anywhere and shorts are harder to find much info. on. I will check out the LOC project you mentioned. Probably paid too much for it if it's not lost after all. Looks like the original kickstarter last fall raised almost $49 K, perhaps they have added more titles since then as the Cunard title mentioned on kickstarter then was The Purple Mask serial?

I admit I am not too familiar with her work.

Any Monty Banks experts know if "Peaceful Alley 1921" is in any archive? or exists with both reels?

Thanks in advance,
Dana
