Here's a 2-reel version of Theda Bara's final film. It was co- written and co-directed by Stan Laurel and co-stars Oliver Hardy and James Finlayson. There may have been a 4-reel feature version released in the UK.

I don't know who uploaded it, but I recognize that it is the version to which I removed logos.

Well that was certainly a strange little film. The ending was funny.

Thanks for posting. I hadn't seen anything by Theda Bara yet. As I understand, very little exists.

I've always been curious as to her appeal and more so, why it has endured.

Certainly not Theda at her best.... A Fool There Was may be her best surviving film.
