Mary Pickford Day

December 3, 1923 was Mary Pickford Day in Los Angeles, and she was honored downtown. Here's the story in a repeat post.

Nice.

It appears that Mary's message was inspired by James Cruze's HOLLYWOOD, which premiered the previous August.

Curious, that Mary was not presented a key to the city.

Well, it was 1923, they probably didn't have locks back in those days.
