Sheriff Loyal Underwood + Bud Duncan/Buddy Bumpkin at KNX ?

Post by Fred M. Stevens » Sat Sep 14, 2019 6:43 am

Interesting that two slight-of-stature comedy actors- best remembered for their work with two silent stars- should both wind up on the same radio station, and also hosting - and touring with - western music bands.

More surprising, Ham’s former foil - assuming he’s the same Bud - might have founded a theatre in North Hollywood, a photo of which - assuming it’s the same theatre - is the last image in this post.
Anyway, some of the info below may explain the gaps in their film careers.

A pointless aside - while at least 45 actors have appeared in both the Marvel and DC universes, how many besides Duncan have starred in 3 comic-based series?

I wrote a history of the Theatre, which for most of its life was called the North Hollywood Playhouse. Several stars appeared in plays there over the years.
