That is a very interesting story about these two sisters. I do admit not to have heard of them. It piqued my interest to find out more about them. Thank you for sharing the link to your article.

Thanks. The Elliotts were among those stage stars who really had no interest in making films.

Interesting piece. The way she moves in the Chaplin clip reminds me of Mary Astor.

What originally caught my interest was that they were from Rockland ... a really obscure place to produce two big stars. During my youth, Rockland was my "big city" until I moved up to Orono to start work there. I was even married in Rockland in May of 1971! Tidbit for the day.

Wonder if FIGHTING ODDS will ever escape Gosfilmofond.....
