Are these quality copies? They are bare bones, I get it, but they have some interesting titles, which I am considering picking up as long as they are not sub-par picture quality.

I have had almost universal good experiences with these. They are often exact reissues of out of print releases from Image Entertainment and Kino. If you have a DVD/Blu Ray player that is fussy with MOD's, you might want to buy one to test. My last Blu ray player occasionally would not play some of them. My newer Samsung and my second all-region Sony player play them fine.
