Flicker Alley's MOD question

Post by GishFan » Sat Jul 11, 2020 10:10 am

Are these quality copies? They are bare bones, I get it, but they have some interesting titles, which I am considering picking up as long as they are not sub-par picture quality.

I have had almost universal good experiences with these. They are often exact reissues of out of print releases from Image Entertainment and Kino. If you have a DVD/Blu Ray player that is fussy with MOD's, you might want to buy one to test. My last Blu ray player occasionally would not play some of them. My newer Samsung and my second all-region Sony player play them fine. The titles I've bought are: RUDOLPH VALENTINO 1 & 2 blu ray., THE CLINGING VINE dvd, THE PARSON'S WIDOW dvd, MALE AND FEMALE dvd, THE TOLL GATE dvd, MAUVAISE GRAINE dvd, DESTINY dvd, TIMOTHY'S QUEST blu ray, VICTORY dvd, ASSUNTA SPINA dvd, ISN'T LIFE WONDERFUL dvd, THE MARRIAGE CIRCLE dvd, CYRANO DE BERGERAC dvd, BED AND SOFA dvd, TRUE HEART SUSIE dvd, REGENERATION dvd, THE BATTLE OF THE SEXES dvd, THE SHEIK dvd, COBRA dvd, and TOL'ABLE DAVID dvd. Good luck! David

I bought the Timothy's Quest BluRay last year and it played fine and looked great with my Sony BluRay player.
