Today, I finally had a chance to view this Japanese Silent from 1932. The 'Western' styled story was well done and I was fortunate the music (supplied by me) helped support this film. It was broadcast without any sound? Sad. Usually, all TCM Silents have music.
It would seem TCM could have found someone interested in scoring this romantic drama of youth as they become adults. For 1932, the film seems more like something made in 1950.
While my music worked okay, it certainly doesn't contain any Oriental themes.

This came up on another thread: viewtopic.php?f=3&t=30649&p=241927&hili ... th#p241927. As I mentioned there, it is available with a score from BFI. You'd need a region 2 player.
