Has anyone seen the Grapevine Video copy of this and how is the quality? Is there a better copy available anywhere?

Not an answer to your question, but a related question.
Is there an existing version that includes Myrna Loy's part? The copy I watched had her part missing.

I've seen the Grapevine DVD and it is pretty good. I say "pretty good" because I saw it years ago at the Silent Movie Theater and the print was gorgeous.
Whoever it was that said this film is deadly dull must have seen a different version. I thought it was terrific.

The Grapevine Version of A GIRL IN EVERY PORT isn't to bad. Pretty good print by their standards. More than a decent score too. The only other version is the old Killiam Shows one and it has a Bill Perry piano score.
Watching Grapevines version of THE DUCHESS OF BUFFALO (1926) Sydney Franklin's obvious parody of Erich Von Strohiem's THE MERRY WIDOW. With delightful Constance Talmadge rather than Mae Murray, Constance is more attractive, and a better actress anyway. I prefer her to Mae myself all around. The print is surprisingly good. if a bit dark at times. But I lightened it up a little, with one of the programs I have. After that and it looks very good. The score is quite nice too.

I have no memory of where I got my copy, which is ok, but remember that Louise Brooks has a relatively small role in this film.
