Puzzlemaster -- guess the film and more

Post by Lokke Heiss » Mon Mar 01, 2010 11:55 pm

No, I'm not Will Short, but here is a puzzle which is not quite complete (please allow Fred to post after me to make this puzzle work right)

Then explain the meaning of the puzzle, and extra credit if you can give the next combination of words after mine, and Fred's that further the sequence. Sort of like Sudoku, but with a silent film connection instead of numbers.

Lokke Heiss,

 BEN HUR (1925). Much to easy! Give us something difficult.

The difficult part for you was to allow Fred respond to my note, and then figure out the next part of the puzzle, which is related to Ben Hur, but is something more.

So assuming Fred reads this post, and responds, then you have your chance.

Okay, thank you daughter of Naldi.

So while the 'theme' of the puzzle has been ID'ed, that not's really the puzzle itself. I could give more hints, but it really isn't that hard, and I don't want to be too obvious.

I'm looking for something more subtle, and how you answer is part of the solution to the puzzle.

Perhaps a little lateral thinking is required. And maybe even some research.
