Broken Blossoms, An In-depth Discussion Wednesday June 30

Post by Sisterluke » Sat Jun 26, 2010 4:22 am

Dear fellow silent film fans. I host a weekly chat room discussion on various classic films. We chat about the story, the players, the direction, and importance of the films in question. This week, I am pleased to announce we are doing a discussion on the D.W. Griffith film Broken Blossoms with an in depth discussion on the film itself and the actress Lillian Gish's career. Anybody who has seen her other performances are encouraged to bring them up in discussion as some of my guests in the chat room are very new in silent film. I hope that maybe a few of you would like to join this silent film discussion next week. I get maybe 2 people from here but it would be nice if for next week I can get a "Lillian Gish" expert or person who knows a lot about her so that it becomes a very good chat room experience.

My email address is [email protected]

Please email me if you want to participate in the chat. The chat will be next wednesday June 30 at 9:00PM - 12:00AM Pacific Time USA, I can make the time more flexible for the eastern time zoners and have the chat earlier too. But it seems that the peak of my chat comes in at around 10:00PM Pacific Time.

AT the very least perhaps some of you that can't make it to the chat can lend me some suggestions what kinds of topics I can discuss regarding Broken Blossoms and Lillian Gish in general. Any responses would be helpful for me

Thanks for reading and have a nice day

Classic Film Fanatic,
