Theda Bara ain't nothin' but. . .

In the Letters to the Editor section of the October 1917 Motion Picture Magazine, there's a letter defending Theda Bara from the charge of being "nothin' but a Cincinnati kike," which was apparently leveled at her by a Miss Curtis Pierce of the Hotel Deshler, Columbus OH, in the August issue.
And, of course, I'm missing that issue. Does anyone here have it, and would you be kind enough to shoot me a copy of the letter, or, failing that, know of an on-line archive for 1917 MPM issues?
