Thanks for posting. That blurb pops up now and again suggesting that Stan Laurel and George Arliss were friends. I have come across anecdotal evidence that Arliss had a number of comedians among his friends including Weber and Fields. When they all lived in LA they apparently spent evenings together. I’d like to be a fly on that wall!
