Harry "Jingles" Keaton (Buster's brother) appeared in several of Buster's short films, and there is a second Harry Keaton who did a few films but is most well known as a shady acting school operator who was in and out of trouble with the law during the 30s & 40s. He continued to work in the film biz for many years afterward, and stayed out of court in later years. I've not seen the spelling "Harry Keatan" before, but I'm assuming this is the same guy. Will do some checking.
For those of you who subscribe to the Keaton Chronicle, the upcoming summer issue will have an excellent article about the second Harry Keaton who obviously capitalized on the famous Keaton name in order to promote himself.

"Jingles" when he was around 15? Or, more likely, somebody else?

Update: This Harry Keatan is indeed the same pseudo-Harry Keaton who used the famous name to promote himself. He worked in the film biz up until the 50s, changing the spelling from Keaton to Keatan.

Ooops (and thanks).
Next you'll be telling me Mike and Diane aren't his kids.

In strolling around the grounds of imdb,
I came across their still-incorrect page for Harry Keaton,
which listed, along with the familiar titles, silent
and talkie credits unfamiliar to me.
Even though imdb had once listed Groucho Marx as an extra in a Robert Redford movie,
I took their Harry Keaton page at face value!

Hmm...I wonder who the "Cooke" working for Eddie Lyons might be? IMDb and Google give me nothing...

EDIT: a certain other silent film message board informs me Cooke was an assistant director, but also by surname only.

Aaaaaaand one more search finds Joseph W. Cooke, also a production manager.

Harry was later replaced by Buster's other brother Shemp Keaton.
