Has anyone got
"All About Eve" on blu-ray? I want to buy it, but I don't know which one to get? There are two versions. One is a Digi-book (more expensive), and the other is just a normal blu-ray. I have checked the blu-ray review sites such as bluray.com but they don't say what (if any?) extra's the digi-book version has got?
Digi-book version - £19.99 plus postage and packaging (US import)
Normal budget blu-ray version - £6.34 plus £1.26 postage & packaging.

I have the Digi-book. The features are exactly as listed on the back of the Blu-Ray case shown in your post, except for a mention of the book itself.

Oh boy. What struck me as so funny is the 12 Rating: "Fit for viewing by persons aged 12 years OR MORE. Contains very mild sex references" (probably referring to that quip "Remind me to tell you about the time I looked into the heart of an artichoke!")
And if that isn't warning enough, it goes on to insist: "NOT to be supplied to any person below that age!"
So, all you people with 11 year old children please, please protect them from the corruption of MARGO CHANNING's bumpy ride!
Yes, I know these are just guidelines that have to be posted on every commercially released film, but protecting kid's from the camp fest made me laugh. I wonder just how many people use that kind of caution on anything produced before 1966.

Maybe it was Addison DeWitt's acid comments. Do we really want our 11 year olds introduced to that kind of cynicism? I think not.

I suspect the primary concern is the shot of Eve putting her arm around her female roommate as the two go back into her room after the late night phone call to the playwright. (i.e., hints of lesbyterianism)
