Peter Cushing Memoirs

Post by earlytalkiebuffRob » Sun Dec 11, 2016 1:17 pm

Bit of a daft-sounding query here. A friend / customer who is also a film studies author is doing some work on STAR WARS, in particular, reminiscences by anyone working on the film in a major capacity. I've just unearthed my copy of Peter Cushing's 'An Autobiography' and 'Past Forgetting', which contains a little bit on said film.

However, I don't want to sell my copy (happy to lend or transcribe the passages) and the books is not that cheap online. Fortunately there is a more affordable one called 'The Complete Memoirs'. Before suggesting that one, could anyone tell me if that book contains the contents of the earlier one? Naturally Amazon doesn't give this rather essential information!

I have read the memoirs and I felt them to be disappointing.Second book dealt at length with the death of his wife and his guilt over an affair.

Thank you for the information. Re the volume I have, I've only read some of the first part, although I knew about how his wife's death affected him. Hadn't read about the affair, most surprised to hear that.
