I just watched this (underwhelming, in my view) wartime comedy and having read on IMDb that the ending was a real surprise, I was frustrated when I realized that my DVR recording ended at precisely the moment that the identity of the man Cathie Aumont (SImone Simon) had wed was to be revealed.
Can someone help me out and tell me who she married? I have a sneaking suspicion, but would like to know once and for all.

I saw this at Cinevent and have to say the zaniness (and general lechery) went over quite well with a crowd.
But alas, I don't remember what the end gag was!

I've never seen the movie but the synopsis here includes the ending.

Thanks! I had indeed guessed the "surprise" ending, but only because I knew there was a twist coming.

Yes, it's definitely the kind of comedy that would benefit from watching with a crowd. Seen solo at home, it fell pretty flat.
